The Ministry of Public Health , as the supreme authority concerned with health care affairs in the country, is developing the national strategy for healthcare in the country in light of the Qatar National Vision. The Ministry also sets the plans and programs emanating from it, and determines the necessary monitoring and follow-up systems to implement the health strategy as a whole. The Ministry provides preventive and curative health services at a level that has an international reputation and global appreciation through health and health care services, which oversee (23) primary health centers distributed in all regions in Qatar, and the medical services of the Medical Commission, which specializes in examining all those coming to the country for work or visits, And the issuance of licenses for medical, health and pharmacy facilities, and the Pharmacy and Drug Control Department proposes the drug policy, and the medical offices for treatment abroad are in charge of following up the cases for which treatment abroad is decided.
